Stanley no7 jointer plane

I thought my Stanley and Veritas jacks did fine flattening the top of Saw Bench v0, but I knew for anything longer I was going to need a jointer plane. Or anyway, I wanted one.

I picked up a Stanley no 7C Type 15 off eBay. It came from a retiree who took tool packng and restoration very seriously.

I don't use it all that often, but when I do it's great.

Someday I'll sell my liver and get the HNT A55 Jointer. Look at that thing. It's gorgeous. Until then, the Stanley no7 works great.
