shoe box v0

For my first real home project, I had sort of built some cabinet doors. But they hadn't fit and it was before I had gotten a real shooting board, so the project got pushed back.

My first actual project was a five foot shoe box for our entry way.

In our house, there's a three foot entry hallway that is always cluttered up with shoes. In the winter, you can't walk in without tripping and almost dying. My spouse has long requested we solve this problem, and so this was my first actual commissioned work. So to speak.

It's still very much unfinished (literally) but it is useful.

The next steps for this would be to put a back on it so things can't fall off, and paint it to match the rest of the space. Until then it eats shoes. Not all of them. But enough.
